Alpic Adriatico

The area between the Alps and the Adriatic is among the most diverse culturally, climatically and geologically in all of Europe. Nowhere do you have such a range of cuisine, indigenous grape varieties and wines.

Closer to the Alps the conditions are cooler, the rock more primary, the wines lighter and higher acid and the food more Hapsburg. Moving towards the Adriatic the conditions quickly warm the soils change and the wines become fatter, brinier and sunnier in disposition.
